- If you’re bursting with ideas for news reports, passionate about film, or just want to be part of creating alternative, award winning programming, then WORLDbytes could be exactly what you’re looking for. Building on more than five years of Citizen TV making experience, WORLDbytes programmes advances new knowledge, skills and ideas. The charity promotes excellence in citizen reporting and provides free training to volunteer-learners which combine practical film making with tackling challenging issues. This is an excellent opportunity to learn all aspects of production while gaining direct, hands on work experience. Our volunteer-learners plan and research programmes, interview experts, form crews and learn to disseminate and distribute their programmes worldwide. Everyone gets credited and we offer opportunities to meet the professionals too. With all of these avenues open to you, why not join us? Our next introductory evening takes place on Thursday 15th January 2015 at 7.30p
