We are thrilled to be screening Every Cook Can Govern: the life, works & impact of C.L.R. James at London South Bank University on Wednesday 26th October at 1.30pm. Every Cook Can Govern – the first feature-length documentary to explore the life, writings and politics of the great Trinidad-born revolutionary C.L.R. James, is an historical tour-de-force, which interweaves the never before seen footage of C.L.R. James with unique testimony from those he knew, alongside interviews with the world’s most eminent scholars of James’ life, work and politics. Every Cook Can Govern marks the culmination of a three year multimedia project arranged by the education charity WORLDwrite and its Citizen TV station WORLDbytes. So we hope you can join us on Wednesday 26th October at 1.30pm at Elephant Studios Cinema (Room L294), London Road Building, London Road, SE1 0AA, for a unique chance to see the film. This event is free and open to all, but space is limited so booking is essential.
