Free Citizen TV training for the General Election

- WORLDbytes are offering a unique opportunity for young people to have their say, make an impact around the General Election, and receive free TV training. We are offering 16-25 year olds free part-time (mainly weekends and evenings) ‘on the job’ training on all aspects of programme-making. This package will focus on the General Election, featuring a lively on the sofa debate with a leading commentator and election vox pops on the streets. This training package covers debates, discussion programmes, camera essentials, lighting, sound, presenting and interview technique. No previous experience is required but a keen interest in challenging ideas is a must as our programmes prioritise content over style. No one who applies will be turned away but everyone interested needs to get an application in fast and attend an introductory evening on 24th May to go through what is involved.
