- WORLDwrite’s new free Volunteer Citizen TV Media-Makers package is open for applications. It blends online sessions, a fundraising event, which can be done remotely or face-to-face and one full-time weekend of face-to-face training and shooting at our centre in Hackney and on location. All the session dates and a short application are on our website. As part of the package, volunteers will discuss, plan, vote on and work in crews for a change-making programme, show or short film of benefit to the public and be credited for it. All our volunteers over the years have found making an impact while developing new skills or honing existing ones a really worthwhile experience. Many have gone on to do great things and we hope you will too. We do provide refreshments and local travel costs to shoots and can help with references for all volunteers who work with us.
